Vacuum-oxygen probes are suitable for use in vacuum processes with pressures ranging from 10-4 mbar to 5 bar above atmospheric pressure, such as vacuum brazing or hardening processes.
The specification is structured as follows:
| 9 | - | 05 | XX | TT | - | LLLL | PPP | A |
| 9 | Oxygen probe | ||||||||
| 05 | Vacuum-tight and pressure-resistant up to 5 bar | ||||||||
| XX | Number of Thermocouples
| ||||||||
| TT | Thermocouple Type
| ||||||||
| LLLL | Nominal length in mm from 0400 to 1000* | ||||||||
| PPP | Process connection
| ||||||||
| A | Optionally available with a calibration certificate for the built-in thermocouple in accordance with the current AMS 2750 / CQI-9 standard |
| 9 | - | 05 | 01 | 01 | - | 0700 | SR22 |
Vacuum oxygen probe with a Ø22 x 150 mm mounting tube, Type S thermocouple, and a nominal length of 700 mm
Due to manufacturing constraints, oxygen probes can typically only be manufactured up to a nominal length of 1,000 mm.
