Vacuum-Thermocouples

Pressure range 10-8mbar to 21bar

Our Vacuum-Thermocouples are used mostly in heat treatment furnaces for hardening, sintering or brazing.

Like all thermocouple they follow the basic design principles:

  • separated, thin wall-thickness, ceramic protection tubes made from high density 99.7% Al2O3
  • additional empty protection tube for in-situ controlling measurements
  • Form A connection head
  • Standard lengths from 400mm to 1600mm
  • 4 years warranty for PtRh-Pt type thermocouples 4 Jahre Garantie against drift thermocouple wire damages
  • Standard process fitting with a ISO 2861 small flange or Ø22×150 tube
  • Custom made process fitting upon request for quote possible
  • Vacuum tight and pressure proof until 20bar
  • Maximum Helium leak rate of 10-6 mbar L / s
  • Optional with certificate of calibration in accordance to AMS 2750
  • Optional assembled with connectors and cables

    The standard lengths are available in 100mm steps. Individualized lengths can be made upon inquiry an.

    • KF40 Small flange ISO 2861 DN 40
  • Optional with certificate of calibration in accordance to AMS 2750

  •  PP  – pressure range
    • 05 vacuum tight and pressure proof up to 5bar
    • 10 vacuum tight and pressure proof up to 10bar
    • 15 vacuum tight and pressure proof up to 15bar

    Please note that for pressures above 5bar it is imperative to apply an additional safety feature such as a chain etc. This ha to prevent the thermocouple from being shot out in case of a loose fitting.
