MI-Thermocouples
Next to resistance sensors, mineral insulated (MI) thermocouples are by far the most sold/used type of temperature measurung sensors.
MI-thermocouples are usually made from MI-cable. These are manufactured by rolling and pulling larger tubes made from the sheath material. Inside these tubes pieces of ceramic insulators are placed together with rods made from the respective thermocouple alloy pairs.
Die Herstellung der Mantelleitung wird durch das Walzen/Ziehen eines Metallrohrs erreicht. In diesem Rohr, mit einem Durchmesser um Ø80mm, werden keramische Hülsen eingeführt durch welche Stäbe aus der Thermoelementlegierung geführt sind.
