78. HeatTreatmentCongress and Steel Innovation 2022
The 78th Heat Treatment Congress (HK) of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wärmebehandlung und Werkstofftechnik e. V., AWT, will take place in Cologne from 11 – 13 October 2022. Parallel to the HeatTreatmentCongress, AWT and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde e. V., DGM, will for the first time jointly organise the scientific symposium Steel Innovation (SI), a conference of the newly founded expert committee for steel materials technology of the AWT and DGM.
For the first time, two conferences and a trade fair will be held under one roof:
HK 2022: The Heat Treatment Congress with the proven division into scientific symposium and practitioners’ conference. The largest European congress on topics of heat treatment and materials technology, manufacturing and process engineering.
SI 2022: The new Steel Innovation conference. Scientific conference under the direction of the joint DGM and AWT committee on steel materials technology, on innovations in materials technology, production, processing, and application of steels.
